This will force the Java updater to use the alternate mechanism to download the java updates. The installer will nagg about your OS not being supported, but will allow you to install the update. Still waiting for Oracle to fix it.

The same thing happens on Windows 8. I get this error every time I try to install java updates from my user account even with elevated permissions.
